In New York state, is is legal for a motorcycle to have LED lights on while moving?
My friends have LEDs on their bikes and I’m a bit iffy about getting them on my bike b/c I’m fairly confident it would be illegal for me to ride with them on, as my friends do. However, my friends have tried to convince me that although it is illegal for a car to have LEDs or neons on while moving, that rule does not apply to motorcycles because it increases their visibility. Anyone have input on the legality of aftermarket lighting?
If it’s illegal for a car it’s illegal for a motorcycle.
