How do I connect a dvd/vcr combo, satellite, and tv?

I have Dish Network, they recently upgraded my box and I’m having trouble hooking everything up back to the way it was. I’m so confused because I did everything exactly the same but it’s still not working. I have the RCA cables properly inserted. I think I may the cable cords wrong (wall to box; box to tv, tv to dvd/vcr) I’ve already tried looking it up on blurit, cabletv, ehow and fixya. Any suggestions?

You need to put the different devices to separate inputs so that you can select which one to view. If you have only one on your tv, you need to get an A/V Audio Video selector. Consult a local home theater installer here:
