i feel like a crap mum?
i had my baby 9 months ago, i had a 3rd degree tear which made it very difficult for me me to breast feed so i switched to the bottle which has left me feeling like my baby has not bonded with me, for some reason i feel like he just doesn’t know im his mum but some woman who takes care of him.
after i started feeling better ive tried by all means to spend time with him,hold him just whatever it takes.
a week ago i had some fibroids removed and i stayed was in hosp, for 3 days, i have not been able to carry him and i feel like he has bonded with his father which is ok but i just dont want him to forget who i am esp cos i wont be holding him any time soon. do babies always know who mummy is?
Sorry you have had so many health problems. I believe babies always know who their mother is. Your baby may be more bonded to you than you realize. I’m glad there is a father in the picture to help the both of you.
