How long does it take to get your first emergency unemployment check after approved in Florida?

It has been quite an ordeal receiving this unemployment extension. I mailed my application in on July 29th. I finally got in touch thru the number last Tuesday. They claimed never getting my application. the operator was very nice and did my application over phone and I claimed weeks . So, now how long before they are releasing the checks? Is every state diferent? I got to claim back to July 15th. Does that mean I am getting 3 checks mailed? i claimed weeks 3 times for 3 different sets of weeks.

Call the number that you last called where “the operator was very nice”. They are backup as so many people are unemployed at this time. When you get your check you should get the 3 weeks sounds like to me. No one can say how long it will take before you get the check. But make sure you do your certification as you are required.

Good luck and tighten your belt (even more). Take some classes at the local Community College. If you go for a 2 yr degree program you can get financial aide.
