Will regular twin sheets fit on an Extra Long Twin bed?

I need to know this for college. Unfortunately my mom just bought me a new set of twin sheets and comforter that are sooo cute (: but the colleges i want to go to all say extra long twin beds. & i really dont want to buy a whole new set of sheets after my mom just bought new ones. Will my regular sheets fit?

You would think they wouldn’t, but I think that when I was a freshman, they told me to get long sheets, and I had a regular one, and it fit fine. I think the sheet was just tighter than usual. But maybe I was mistaken and I somehow had a long sheet.
