We have a sticky flashlight………?

We have a couple flashlights set up on our stairs leading up to the attic. Only one of the flashlights gets slimy and wet. After we wash it and wait a couple days, it gets slimy again. It’s kind of creepy lol. Why and how does this happen? Thank you.

Somehow there is a lot of moisture in that area, I would have it checked out by a pro. You might have some rotting wood already in your walls.
