are there any organized social functions for people who suffer from aspergers disease?

i know someone with aspergers that really wants to meet people but he really struggles socializing due to his condition? does anyone offer any workshops or camp or functions that could help him… i think he could really meet some cool people if perhaps there was some sort of convention for him to meet people who could maybe understand him more

There are organizations all over the place. Contact your local autism center and ask. I am in Montreal and there are plenty of classes, courses and social groups for people with asperger’s syndrome.
