What did soldiers do if they didn’t have a gas mask?
I’m doing a school project in school, and I need to know what soldiers did if they didn’t have a gas mask.
Help Pleaase!
It really DID depend on which war we are talking about here.
Gas is a posion basically… nerve gas, mustard gas, etc.
It’s some seriously nasty stuff and It WILL kill you.
Even the fake gas the military trains with is nasty stuff ….. you can’t see, you can’t breath, your gagging, you kind of lose control of some “facial functions” like stuff coming out of your nose in great bulk.
Without a gas mask a soldier had to breath and that usually meant breathing in the gas and subcoming to the gas.
Today we do have some antidotes but a soldier would still need to breath and would still need a mask.
If a soldier didn’t have a gas mask, they usually died.
