How can i make a glowstick?
i have seen a fiew videos on the web and was wondering if there is any sure fire way to make this happen one i have seen is this one http://www.metacafe.com/watch/859146/glow_lantern_how_to/
can it work or is it all a bunch of BS and i should just go out and buy a case of glow sticks?
I mean is there some way to do it with household chemicals and items. Has some science teacher done this for his class?
I’m not sure if what is on that videoactually works but I can give you this information. My sister and I like to collect alcohol bottles. We fill them with water. Take a highlighter, pull out the ink, place it in the bottle, let it sit. The Ink from the highlighter will die the water the same color. Because they are fluresant (that might be spelled wrong) they glow in the dark. It also looks really nice and you have options for colors.
