can i use isoprophyl alcohol on a new lip piercing?
i pierced my lip today, im not sure how to clean it, but i have isopropyl alcohol, is it safe to use on my lip? or am i gonna get a super-duper mega infection? i also pierced it with a staple gun, does that make me more likely to get an infection? p.s. i sterilized the whole rail of staples with a mini butane torch before the piercing, but im not a metal expert so i dont know about what metal does what when introduced to blood.
You shouldn’t ever use alcohol on a piercing. Use witch hazel. That’s what my piercer told me to use, and it didn’t get infected once. :]
