Where to have an outdoor tent wedding in Twin Cities area?

We are trying to find some land to have an outdoor large tent wedding at without all the hassles and restrictions (No outside food, caterers, no alcohol blah blah blah) from traditional locations and city parks. We literally just need some nice land somewhere in Twin Cities to put up the tent and then let us do what we want (without damages of course). We read this thing about the new potluck wedding trend but with caterer restrictions everywhere that is nearly impossible. CAN ANYONE HELP? DOES ANYONE HAVE LAND WE COULD USE? (For a fee obviously) THANK YOU

OK. Without spending $100K with me I will give you the standard speech free. Do you REALLY want to get married in a circus tent? If you’re having a cheap wedding and can’t afford much then fine, I’ll stop here and you go for it. But if you expect to have any element of a “classy” looking wedding in a tent, prepare to shell out TWICE what you’ll pay at the expensive venues in your town. Yes, twice. Why?

Great, you’ve got a tent. Now, so it doesn’t look like a petting zoo, let’s start decorating. You need uplighting, downlighting, chandeliers with tons of chrystals (at least 4 but probably 8), some type of flooring, flowers galore to hide more tent and hundreds upon hundreds of yards of fabric that can be draped everywhere to make it look romantic. Now, let’s worry about climate. If it may rain, you need a rain tent which costs more and you’ll need the sides and doors to protect form the elements in that situation. You need climate control if it may be too hot or too cold so bring in temporary Heat/AC units. Plenty of them. Next: Power. You’re in the middle of nowhere so you need a 100kw -200k diesel generator placed onsite (about the size of a small car) to provide power for everything. Are you getting the point here? In the process of saving money by using a tent, you’ll eventually realize that you could have held the wedding at the most expensive and elaborate facility in town, spent less and actually gotten MORE out of the deal.

Do what you want but unless a bride has well over 100K and a good reason to do this, I always point the other direction.
