Can anyone give me any information about camping on beaches/national parks in Israel?
I will be in Israel for approximately a month this summer. I am a huge fan of outdoor activities. Given the fact that it is summer I wouldn’t mind sleeping outdoors on occasion. I am particularly interested in camping out on beaches, if possible. Also, I have heard many good things about the Israel National Trail, but the only ‘official’ site seems to be in Hebrew, and mine isn’t nearly fluent. Any information on hiking the Israel National Trail, camping out on it, safety issues, etc, would be greatly appreciated.
Also, information on any other outdoor activities that won’t cost an arm and a leg (I am a college student) would be greatly appreciated. I am open to anything; biking, hiking, rafting, rapelling, etc.
hey- ok if u wanna sleep on the beach theres this beach on the kinneret called the dugit- that many people sleep on, in that area there are also many hikes.. israel is full of hikes!!! when ur on a hike just make sure u follow the trail- thats the colorful marking that u have at every turn… there are so many options- i cant write them all now but the summertime is full of concerts on the beach and stuff like that too- hope u have a safe trip!!!
