Why are women so opposed to wearing pantyhose with sandals?

I would like to know where this rediculous idea came from? I’m a guy that thinks it looks great to see pantyhose with sandals on ladies, it certainly looks much better than bare legs!

Not everyone does. They can look nice sometimes. Pantyhose definitely look better than bare legs – more classy. If you try to wear pantyhose that don’t have the reinforced toes with sandals it should look just fine…kind of like these for example:
