how much should it cost for a gun smith to check my rifle?
i have an old Swedish Mauser from 1903, long story shot last time this gun was fired was about 40-50 years ago so i need it checked out to see if there are any problems, so how much should this run me? i live in PA.
If the gun is in good shape,and the bore is clean and not blocked.And the serial #’s all match I would just shoot it. They are very good guns made with good quality steel. Otherwise $50 or so.
