Why are the screen edges of the LED television slightly lighter of color?
I know the problem hasn’t occured with LCD televisions.
I aslo know that a LED screen has more lamps and has a increase chance of failure.
The odds of pixel defects are higher. But it is so much thinner than LCD. More power efficient.
Better contrast ratio. My biggest problem is the screen edges are lighter of color. I mean after all its is best PQ we are after. Do the higher end models have this problem too?
Depends on the model.
Edge-lit LED TVs have all the light at the edge and use light-guides to spread the light.
They show “blooming”, but can be made very thin.
Full-array LEDs have them spread in the back – in a full array. They provide better image quality, but are thicker.
Look for Full-array, back-lit, with Local dimming. = the best.
