Any good weekend trekking ideas for places around Dallas Texas?

Hi, does anyone know of good trekking places near dallas Texas? We’re a group of about 6 and would like to go for some trail walking or mini-trekking sort of thing, maybe catch a horse-ride. Anything within a 2-4hr drive from Dallas would be nice.
