water well bladder pressure setting?

I live in the country(rural) where we have a water well as our supply source. the cut-in pressure set at the switch is 30 psi and the cut-out is at 60psi…how much air pressure should the bladder have to obtain maximum pump effeciency..the pressue tank is a 30 gal. tank.

The pressure setting for the bladder should be 2-PSI. lower than the cutin pressure.This can only be checked when the pump is not on and the tank is drained of water.If you have the same pressure as the cutin pressure sometimes the bladder will go to the bottom of the tank and the flow of water will be interrupted for a second before the pump kicks in.By setting the pressure in the bladder 2-PSI. lower there will always be a small amount of water in the tank when the pump kicks in,and it will eliminate the chance of this happening.This info. is directly from the installation manual for Amtrol tanks.
